To give you our full attention please telephone to find a time convenient for us both.

All Dogs must have been vaccinated against Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza. We do not insist upon Bordetella (Infectious Bronchitis Kennel Cough) although we do recommend you discuss this with your vet. Should you wish to give your dog the kennel cough vaccine, it must be given at least 3 weeks prior to their stay at BCK.

All Cats must be vaccinated against feline parvovirus (feline infectious enteritis (FIE)) and against feline respiratory viruses (feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus).

All Toms over 6 months old must be neutered.

Current vaccination certificates for all pets must be shown on admission.

Whilst every possible attention is given to each pet boarded with us, it is done so entirely at the owner's risk. Owners requesting their pets share accommodation is done entirely at their own risk. Should BCK feel the need to separate them in the interest of the animals' own safety, a relevant charge for the extra accommodation will be levied. Any current or ongoing problems with a pet's health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse any pet that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or sick at the time of boarding.

Please note all pets boarded at BCK are insured whilst in our care, in line with our Pet Plan insurance cover for up to a maximum of £1,500. Any claim in excess of this figure and vet treatment beyond 21 days, is at the owner's expense. The following conditions are excluded from our insurance cover: Fees in connection with breeding, preventative vaccinations, any condition that existed prior to boarding, or in the unfortunate event of death, the cost of cremation, burial or disposal.

Should it be necessary for a vet to be called or a pet transported to a veterinary practice for any existing health condition during boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

All pets should have been wormed recently. Should any pet on arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas, worms etc.) then a charge will be levied for this.

Any possessions, blankets, toys etc., are left entirely at your own risk. Any misplaced items not collected within 4 weeks of the departure date will be disposed of.

Fees are charged at a daily rate, inclusive of arrival and departure day. Should either the prior collection of an animal, or any reduction to the original booking period occur, the reserved occupancy fee will be charged. Prices are charged current at the time of boarding.

A £40 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Provisional bookings will be held for a limited period and will be removed from the booking sheet if a deposit has not been paid.

Payment is required in full before or on arrival. We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards.

BCK reserve the right to presume ownership of animals and re-home accordingly if NOT: Collected within 7 days of the stated departure date, or no communication from the owner or guardian is received. Should efforts to contact the owner fail, the owner will be held responsible and pursued for outstanding fees and ongoing costs.
